This effort is led by Governor Bill Haslam and made possible by The Governor’s Foundation for Health and Wellness, a non-profit corporation dedicated to enabling and encouraging Tennesseans to lead healthier lives. The Foundation is funded through a combination of public and private-sector sources, and is guided by an independent Board of Directors.

ADVISORY PANELS

The panels below were formed to provide guidance, expert advice, and evaluation of programs and tools that the Foundation se- lects, encourages, and enables. They will offer opinions and comments on performance measures and the initiative’s messaging and awareness campaigns. Panel members will advise the Foundation’s staff, be a resource for its Board of Directors, and serve as a sounding board and authority for those engaged in its work.

  • Childhood & Youth Advisory Board Focuses on program and tool evaluation with an emphasis on those directed at children and youth and at those who teach, develop, and support them.
